Connect a TOSlink optical cable from the digital output of your mac into the digital input of your Digidesign Hardware.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>3. Open Pro Tools and select &#8220;hardware&#8221; from the setup menu .<\/p>\n<p>4. \u00c2\u00a0Select S\/PIDIF in optical format, hit ok. Open Pro Tools and create a new stereo Aux track.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>6. solo safe the aux input (the solo button will be\u00c2\u00a0grayed\u00c2\u00a0out if you do this correctly).<\/p>\n<p>7.
